There are two sets of four ferrocement water storage tanks, the lower 316 gallon tanks and the upper 600 gallon tanks. Both were constructed with 2” walls made from a steel rebar cage with hardware cloth on the internal side and a cement based mortar finish on both the interior and exterior. Each of the total eight water storage tanks present an inlet pipe, an outlet pipe, and a cleanout pipe. All the pipes are 2” wide.

The lower four water storage tanks follow a cylindrical shape with an internal radius of 1’-8”. The internal height of these tanks is 4’ from the finished floor to the bottom of the lid of the tank. In total, the lower tanks have a capacity of 1,260 gallons.

The upper four water storage tanks follow a bottle shape with an internal radius of 1’-10”. The body of the tanks measure 6’-8” with a 6” neck followed by a 2” lid. In total, the upper tanks have a capacity of 2,400 gallons. These tanks also have a water level sensor and pipes connecting them to each other for redundancy purposes.
